Seisei-urushi (refined lacquer) Japanese and Chinese

We refine and formulate urushi in our factory based on client need.
50g, 100g, 200g tube is available.

Disclaimer

In some cases where urushi in its liquid form comes into direct contact with your skin it is possible to develop a rash. Symptoms include redness, swelling, and itching. Please note that we shall not be responsible for any troubles related to rashes.

Ki-urushi
(Filtered raw lacquer)
 Uwazuri, Ki-jomi, Isehaya
 High quality Japanese raw lacquer. Used for suri-urushi, gluing the gold/silver powder, and finishing such as wiping the roiro-shiage.
Tsugi-ise Used for polishing up of finishing of suri-urushi. Substitute to Isehaya.
Hakuoshi-urushi Used to paste gold leaf on the surface of lacquerware.
Jo-ki-urushi Viscosity is low and thin. Drys firmly. Raw lacquer for fuki-urushi. Also used for undercoating.
Shitaji-urushi Urushi for undercoating mixed with tonoko or jinoko. Also called seshime.

Kurome -urushi (Refined lacquer through kurome process)　　　　   Suki-urushi (Transparent lacquer) Togidashi-nashiji
-urushi		 Urushi with excellent transparency for nashiji-nuri. Used for roiro finishing by polishing.
Aka-roiro Transparent urushi of amber color. Storng urushi to increase the transparence. Also used to make iro (colored) -urushi bymixing with pigments.
Kijiroiro Transparent urushi. Used for overcoating and polishing. Also used to make iro (colored) -urushi bymixing with pigments.
Keshi-shuai Transparent urushi of matte amber color. Also used to make iro (colored) -urushi bymixing with pigments.
Aka-nakanuri Used for undercoat before the overcoating of suki-urushi or iro-urushi.
Nuritate-nashiji Used for nashiji-nuri. Glossy urushi that can be finished without any additional overcoat.
Jo-shuai (Nuritate-shuai) Transparent urushi of glossy amber color. Also used to make iro (colored) -urushi bymixing with pigments.
Aka-haku-shita
-urushi 		Transparent urushi of amber color.Applied under the metallic leaves such as gold leaf.
Jo-tame-urushi Transparent urushi of medium gloss deep amber color.
MR (roll mill) suki-sugurome Quickly solidifiable glossy urushi. Tighten after solidified. Highly weather resistant.
Kuro-urushi (Black lacquer) Hon-roiro（Kuro-roiro） Polish up by roiro process. Urushi that solidify tightly.
Kuro-naka-urushi Urushi to apply under the black overcoat.
Jo-hon-kuro（Nuritate-kuro） Glossy jet-black urushi that can be finished without any additional overcoat. 
Hakushita-urushi Black urushi applied under the metallic leafs such as gold leaf.
Shin-nuri Jet-black urushi with medium gloss.
MR (roll mill) kuro-sugurome Quickly solidifiable glossy urushi. Tighten after solidified. Highly weather resistant.
Iro-urushi (Colored lacquer) Neri-shu (cinnabar paste)
Hon-shu, Aka-kuchi, Ki-kuchi
Aka-kuchi: pure red
Hon-shu: Slightly deeper/darker red
Ki-kuchi: Yellowish red
White urushi Used to draw the lines of E-urushi (drawing by urushi) or maki-e (lacquer decoration sprinkled with metal powder). Also used when sprinkling gold/silver powder.
Bengara (brownish-red) Neri-urushi Used to draw the lines of E-urushi (drawing by urushi) or maki-e (lacquer decoration sprinkled with metal powder). Also used when sprinkling gold/silver powder.
Other (yellow, green)  Other colors are also available.
